Currently seeking a Cost and Management Accountant for an award-winning digital agency based in Riverhorse Valley, Durban. The successful candidate will play a critical role in providing financial insights and strategic support, ensuring cost efficiency and driving financial performance. Prepare and present monthly management accounts. Analyse financial performance and provide insights to support strategic decision-making. Implement and manage effective cost control measures to optimize expenses and improve profitability. Conduct thorough cost analysis and recommend cost-saving initiatives. Monitor and report on cost variances, identifying areas for improvement. Manage costs to maximize profitability. Prepare (monthly, quarterly and annual) cost forecasts. Prepare budgeting reports. Analyze and report profit margins. Assist in month-end and year-end closing. CIMA qualified with relevant degree in Accounting/Finance. Proven experience in a Management Accounting / Cost Accounting / Similar role. Exceptional cost management skills. Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail Strong communication and presentation skills. Computer literacy, MS Excel in particular (VLOOKUPs and pivot tables) Proficient in the use of accounting software - XERO / DEAR / Other Strong business acumen and strategic thinking. Integrity and ability to handle confidential information. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment. Ability to work independently and take initiative. Proactive and self-motivated. R20 000 - R30 000 per month, dependant on experience Apply Now
