Job Title: Cost Estimator (Engineering)
Geographical area: Randburg, Gauteng
Salary range: Market Related

The successful incumbent will be responsible for:

Generate quotations.
Assist with costing
Writing of technical specification of certain products and communicate to production floor
Ensuring that any changes to the technical spec by the client is communicated to the Engineering Department and Production.
Regularly updating Bill of Material for Standard Quotes
Sourcing of parts when required
Working multiple projects daily
Compiling Bill of materials for multiple projects
Providing continuous support to all departments to assist in any queries related to production.
Price forecast of material to avoid possible future price increases.
