Counter Sales required for a reputable hardware company based in East London, Eastern Cape

Requirements:

Previous experience in retail sales or customer service, preferably in a hardware or building materials environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
Basic computer skills.
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in sales or retail is a plus.
Flexibility to work weekends

Responsibilities:

Greet customers and assist them in finding the products they need
Provide accurate information about products, pricing, and availability
Process sales transactions through POS (Point of Sale) system
Maintain a tidy and organized sales counter and showroom area
Stock shelves and ensure that products are neatly arranged
Collaborate with team members to ensure customer satisfaction and maximize sales opportunities
Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally and efficiently
Keep up to date with product knowledge and industry trends
Follow company policies and procedures regarding safety and security
