Cross Border Assistant - Johannesburg
Qualifications:
- Grade 12 with Mathematics
- Diploma in Transport will be advantageous
- Valid driver's licence (minimum code 8)
- Previous Operations, Sales and Customer service experience
- Computer literacy on Google web based applications, Excel and Word
- A geographical background and an understanding of relocations within the region
- Understanding of cross border transport documents and clearance procedure
- Ship-Shape Software experience will be advantageous
- Carry out onsite survey visits and quotes for removal of household and commercial goods
- One on one meetings with clients and provide assistance where necessary
- Export and Import documents - crossborder related - working closely with clearing agents to ensure smooth clearing of goods at the borders
- Check border documentation and POD's when drivers return and ensure timeously submission of POD's
- Invoicing and submission of sales batches timeously
- Debtor follow ups with clients
- All forms of marketing to help generate new business for the branch
- Operational assistance
- Route planning
- Handling of corporate accounts
