Assigns job to pickers and packers. Loading/unloading trucks. Equipment storage Create and input stock counts. Collaborate with other departments (i.e. technical dept.) for optimisation of overall efficiency. Abides by the rules and procedures. Confirm delivery is correct vs P/O; Identification and pre-receipt goods; co-ordinate, identification labelling and bin location allocation. Manage Staff (attendance register). SHEQ Results of stocktaking & analysis of stock counts Productivity of loading & unloading of trucks Capacity of warehouse Correct documents flow should eliminate variances and supplier complaints (blocked accounts due documentation not processed) Following process will eliminate goods stored, transferred incorrectly and variances in multiple warehouses and suppliers paid on time. Staff performance-output, accuracy, attendance, and morale Injuries, Health Protocols, Waste Disposal and Customer complaints e.g. damaged, incorrect goods and customer satisfaction Qualifications Matric (Grade 12) Forklift license Relevant qualification in warehouse and stock control. Experience Relevant experience as foreman – preferably 2-3 year minimum Good knowledge of transport and distribution operations Behavioral attributes People management skills Multi-tasking ability Strong problem-solving skills. Team working Highly organized Stress tolerance Ability to plan ahead and deal with unexpected issues. Sound business and professional ethics Analytical thinking Between 1 - 3 Years Apply Now
