The Data Analyst/Engineer will be responsible for analysing and understanding the requirements related to capital functions. This role involves working closely with business users to interpret their needs regarding capital management and translating these into actionable data-driven insights and solutions. General Information : Location: Johannesburg, South Africa Mode of Work: Hybrid - 2 days in office Full-time Position Collaborate with business users to gather and analyse requirements. Design, develop, and maintain data warehouses using SSIS and other data warehousing concepts. Transition data solutions to cloud platforms, particularly Azure, and leverage Azure Data Factory when applicable Understand and implement data warehousing designs including dimensions and facts. Provide a basic understanding of financial concepts, particularly in capital management and regulatory reporting. Engage in stakeholder management and effectively communicate with various teams. 3 – 7 years of experience required. Relevant BCom Degree. Experience in data analysis and engineering, particularly in the banking or financial services industry. A basic understanding of finance, capital management, and regulatory reporting is essential.
