Our client, a division of a larger Listed Group, currently has a 6-month contract requirement. As the Data Specialist, you will analyse and interpret data within the company to support business objectives and decision-making processes. Minimum Job Requirements: Matric essential. Min 5 years experience as a Data Specialist. Must be very strong in Data Analysis. Knowledge of Retail and Wholesale metrics. Knowledge of Dax. Competencies / Skills: Microsoft SQL and Transact SQL. Microsoft Power BI and associated products. Time management. Stress tolerance. Problem-solving & critical thinking skills. Interpersonal management skills. Key Performance Areas: Collect, store & manage data effectively. Analyse large sets of data to identify trends, patterns & insights. Establish data quality standards & security measures. Translate data into understandable reports using Power BI. Clean & process data to remove inconsistencies, ensuring data accuracy & reliability.
