Proficient in data analysis and interpretation, utilizing tools like Excel, SAGE, Qlick view and Netstock to identify trends and areas for improvement. Develop and maintain demand plans for various products or services. Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to gather insights and incorporate market intelligence into forecasts. Regularly review and adjust forecasts based on changing market conditions. Ensure optimal stock levels to meet customer demand while minimizing excess inventory costs. Work closely with the supply chain team to align inventory levels with production and distribution plans. Ensure age stock is managed to align with company target 8% on SOHV (Stock on hand value) Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product teams to gather information on promotions, product launches, and market developments. Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including procurement, logistics, and operations, to ensure seamless coordination across the supply chain. Communicate effectively with various departments to understand factors influencing demand. Ability to develop accurate demand forecasts to support inventory planning and procurement decisions. Proven ability to troubleshoot supply chain and shipping issues, implement corrective actions, and prevent future disruptions. Generate and present regular reports on forecast accuracy, demand trends, and inventory performance. Provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement in demand and supply chain planning processes. Bachelor's degree in supply chain management or relevant degree. Minimal 6 years of experience in Demand planning. Strong analytical skills, proficiency in forecasting tools, and effective communication with cross-functional teams are essential for success in this position. Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration with suppliers, Customers, internal teams, and management. Experience in optimizing inventory levels, ensuring efficient stock levels to meet demand while minimizing excess. Knowledge of statistical modelling and forecasting techniques. Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and proactively adjust plans. Ability to work under pressure. Advanced excel skills.
