We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy General Manager to assist the General Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our Safari Hotel and Convention Centre overlooking the Rustenburg Kloof and in the North-West Province. The Deputy General Manager will be responsible for managing staff, monitoring performance, implementing company policies, and ensuring that all operations run smoothly and efficiently. Key Responsibilities: Assist the General Manager in developing and implementing business strategies and long-term plans. Manage and oversee all operational aspects of the company, including production, marketing, sales, and customer service. Supervise and provide leadership to HODs (Heads of Departments) and other staff members. Monitor and evaluate employee performance, providing feedback and guidance as needed. Ensure that company policies and procedures are being followed and updated as necessary. Identify and address any issues or obstacles that may arise during the course of business operations. Collaborate with other executives and department heads to align efforts and achieve Hotel goals and targets. Serve as a point of contact for employees, customers, and stakeholders in the absence of the General Manager. Oversee financial management and budgeting to ensure that the Hotel remains profitable and sustainable Qualifications: Grade 12 or equivalent qualification. Tertiary qualification in Hotel management or hospitality related field is preferred. Minimum of 3 - 5 years of experience in a leadership or managerial role Must have valid driver's license and own reliable motor vehicle. Strong leadership and decision-making skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Proven track record of successfully managing projects and teams. Knowledge of financial management, budgeting, and business operations.
