Job Title: Diesel Mechanic Location: Northern Cape, South Africa Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Hire Resolve's Client are looking for a skilled and experienced Diesel Mechanic to join their mining operations in the Northern Cape. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing heavy-duty diesel equipment used in our mining operations. Responsibilities: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel-powered equipment such as dump trucks, loaders, and drilling rigs Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues with equipment Conduct safety inspections and ensure that all equipment is in proper working order Keep detailed records of maintenance and repairs completed Work closely with other members of the maintenance and operations team Requirements: Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic in a mining environment Trade certification or equivalent qualification in diesel mechanics Strong technical and mechanical skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Good communication and problem-solving skills Willingness to work in a remote mining location Experience working with Caterpillar, Komatsu, or other heavy-duty mining equipment Knowledge of mining safety regulations and practices Benefits: Salary: R600k - R700k Contact Hire Resolve for your next career-changing move.
