Quantum Foods has a career opportunity at one of it's units in Gauteng for a Distribution Controller to join their dynamic team. This position will report directly to the Operations Manager II and will be based at our Hens Nest Offices in Tarlton, Gauteng. Coordinate loading of stock & dispatch of final goods Monitor & control distribution costs Manage truck utilization Ensure that the loading of the product (Point of Lay's) is accurate as per the set schedule Control and manage product damages on trucks Organize distribution incl. products, vehicles & routes Ensure optimum customer service delivery incl. orders, products and queries Plan loading of final goods Handle enquiries, including liaison with all stakeholders Accurate management of distribution and drivers via Mix Telematics Manage the vehicle maintance plan, roadworthy and condition Manage overtime worked within department Grade 12 Relevant Logistics or Distribution qualification (advantageous) Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office SAGE ERP experience (advantageous) Four to five years relevant experience in logistics or distribution Ability to work weekends & public holidays, if required Drivers licence (code 08) and reliable vehicle At Quantum Foods we are committed to Employment Equity and offer a competitive salary package and benefits.
