Logistics Company based in Germiston is looking for the following vacancy to be filled. We service customers nationally and are looking for experienced individuals to fill this vacancy. The Company prefers candidates from the logistics industry . Only AA candidates will be considered. The ideal candidate would need to speak to various clients to book loads, Capture load details, dates and order numbers on forward planning, send truck details and give updates on the status of the loads to clients. Most importantly be able to analyse the most effective and profitable loads and route, for all KPI's to be met. Utilize all vehicles to ensure customer requirements are being met and liase with Maintenance to ensure optimum truck utilization. DAILY/WEEKLY/MONTHLY REVENUE PLANNING Acceptance of loads and ensuring all accepted loads are profitable. Liasing with clients and customers on return loads. Managing and assigning trucks in various locations to maximise profitability and optimise costs. Route planning for various loads to optimise profitability. Responsible daily reports load tracking . Constantly explore other ad hoc opportunities to optimise revenue. CLIENT SERVICE Communicate with customers to minimise delays and record accessorials in cases of customer delayrs. Monitor monthly customer KPI's Represent the Company in a positive way by producing the core Values of the Company to external parties. Co-ordinate transport activities, settling customer complaints related to product deliveries. ADMINISTRATIVE DUTIES Capture daily loads on TMS and Excel. Resolve any queries related to loads, POD's and rates . Monitor on-time-loading and deliveries Ensure all orders are captured on TMS and on Excel on a daily basis. Supervise the POD Clerk to make sure all open loads are closed in order to trigger payment. Monitor driver shifts and off duty days. DISCIPLINARY PROCESSES Together with Senior Controller give counselling and warnings when needed to drivers. Discuss incidents with Senior Controller. Tertiary Qualification in Logistics Proficient in Microsoft Office Programmes Knowledge of any Transport Management System Ability to work Independently. Ability to act on spot when things don't go as plan Knowledge of the transport environment Minimum 3 years' experience in similar role Knowledge of supply chain Attention to detail Exceptional people skills Clear communication to all parties Teamwork Ability to work independently Customer orientated Patience Professional Must be able to stay calm in crisis situations Can communicate within the team and contribute to the overall success of the team Market Related Salary Apply Now
