Our client, that manufacture in design in transformers and enclosures are in need of a Draughtsperson to join the team. Main Responsibilities or Functions of the Job Design Electrical Drawings [must have experience in highvoltage electrica] Training of Production Personnel Ensure Systems, Procedures & Practices are consistently implemented Perform design work according to sound engineering principles Prepare drawing sets for manufacture Liaise with clients on technical issues Prepare and present technical reports Improve technically implemented designs Updating drawings Compiling of job files Tracing of parts issued to the factory and general assembly drawings Technical support to company departments Correctly interpret client requirements for the on-time preparation of layout, manufacturing and proposal drawings Ensure health and safety Responsible for the safe, efficient, reliable, and environmentally compliant operation of assigned area Ad hock duties Experience AutoCad Inventor Attention to detail Report writing Calculations Problem solving Decision making Qualification National Diploma/Bachelors degree in Draughting/Mechanical Engineering in drawing Min 3 years relevant experience in the Technical/Mechanical Engineering environment Min 3 years in AutoCad Autodesk Inventor would be an added advantage. Up to R35 000 depending on experience and qualifications
