Create and maintain project documentation, including design reports, schedules and drawings Work with design engineers and project managers to create 2D and 3D piping designs using AutoCAD Plant 3D. Design Process & Instrument diagrams, 2D & 3D layouts and construction drawings with minimal input from Engineering. Generate drawings according to customer standards. Review and interpret client requirements, specifications, and scope of work documents. Create and maintain project documentation, including design reports, schedules and drawings. Support engineering in design, purchasing and site coordination. Collaborate with other members of the project team to ensure design meet project requirement and specifications. Use technical knowledge and problem-solving skills to resolve issues relating to piping design. Perform plant walk downs and surveys at client sites as required. To liaise with site installation contractors, and to manage the installation in line with design drawings. Drawing revision Management. Communicate effectively with project team members, clients, and other stakeholders. Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all work. Checked before issuing. Matric Relevant qualification Knowledge of AutoCAD Plant 3D Experience in the food and beverage industry advantageous Revised each time changes are done. Manage drawing control through issue to relevant personnel and transmittals/emails. Work on site to ensure layout drawings and as built documentation is correct. To work your workload so that productive hours are maximized. To manage your hours according to budget. To provide drawings according to upfront agreed timelines with engineering department. In case of delays, the responsible engineer needs to be informed in time. Ability to promote a positive, competent and effective image with our customers and hereby greatly improving repeat business opportunities
