Our client is a leading supplier of high-quality home furnishings and decor for both the local and international market. What started in 1987 as a humble Cape Town showroom has since grown into 19 showrooms nationwide, with more on the way, as well as a thriving online store.
They have an exciting opportunity for a seasoned E-commerce Manager to lead their client's e-commerce store. The successful candidate will be based at their head office in Bellville.
MAIN DUTIES:
- Implement and manage e-commerce strategy.
- Continuously develop and optimise the e-commerce platform.
- Achieve e-commerce sales targets.
- Report and analyse e-commerce platform performance.
- Manage the e-commerce team.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Degree or accredited qualification in e-commerce, business, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role, managing and driving an e-commerce platform in a retail environment.
- Expert knowledge and in-depth experience with the Shopify platform.
- Luxury brand experience is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of website design, development, and tracking.
- Ability to interpret web analytics and reporting, and knowledge of how to improve these metrics.
- Strong strategy development experience.
- Ability to manage and motivate a team.
- Ability to drive cross-functional collaboration.
