Reference: JHB001005-Yolan-2 Well known and leading supplier of HIGH VOLTAGE electrical equipment requires an experienced Commissioning Technician. Function Electrical commissioning of control and drive equipment, and testing of PLC, SCADA and Drive software for applications in the mining and metals sectors. Key Tasks Commissioning of hardware used in drive application, mainly mine winders and mills Commissioning of PLC, SCADA and Drive software used in drive applications Factory acceptance tests Handling of break down call outs – Standby duty Electrical and Control Audits Presentation of training courses to clients Design and PLC programming on small projects Report writing Qualifications and Experience N4 or T3 or equivalent qualification in electrical engineering (National Diploma or Degree will be advantageous) 5 Years post qualification and 3 years in commissioning of LV & MV Switchgear, Transformers, Instrumentation, PLC, SCADA & Drives systems Strong in Problem Solving Computer Literacy (Word, Excel & MS Projects) OHSACT, MHSACT, SANS 10142-1 compliance Strong Leadership and Communication skills (English) Mine winder experience will be preferred Monthly plus Basic salary, medical aid, provident fund
