We are seeking a talented and experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join their innovative team. As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing electrical systems and equipment. You will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the integration of electrical designs with overall project requirements. Design and develop electrical systems and components for [specify applications, e.g., industrial automation, renewable energy projects, consumer electronics]. Create detailed electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and layouts using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks Electrical). Perform calculations for electrical loads, power distribution, and circuit protection. Select appropriate components and materials based on project requirements and cost considerations. Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments for new designs. Collaborate with mechanical engineers, software engineers, and project managers to ensure seamless integration of electrical components into overall system design. Test and validate designs through simulations, prototype testing, and troubleshooting. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Prepare technical documentation, including specifications, test reports, and user manuals. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. Proven experience in electrical design engineering Proficiency in CAD software for electrical design. Strong knowledge of electrical components, materials, and manufacturing processes. Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Project management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively. R450 000 CTC to R540 000 CTC per annum based on experience and qualifications
