We are currently have a position available for an Electrical E-Plan P8 Draughtsman in our factory in Cape Town, South Africa. 3 Years' relevant experience using E-Plan Software Proficient with Microsoft Excel Proficiency with Microsoft Office preferred Experience in designing low voltage ( less than 1000V, 1PH and 3PH) industrial control panels Sound Knowledge of electrical switchgear, programmable logic control systems and VSD's Good Time Management High Level Motivation Attention to detail Work under pressure and set timelines Good Communication Skills Valid South African drivers license Reliable transport Reside in the Cape Town Area Please note that traceable references are required and will be verified The following constitutes the duties and responsibilities of the role: Creating detailed electrical schematics Compiling wiring diagrams and layout draings for MCC panels using E-Plan 8 Ashere to health and safety and environmental requirements as dictated by law and company policies Contribute to building and maintaining of a continous improvement environment and ongoing functional activities Understanding of electrical wiring principles and methodologies specific to your field Clear and effective communication skills for articulating electrical design needs and explaining technical details Flexibility to adapt to new challenges, changes in project scope, and unexpected obstacles Ability to meticulously ensure that every aspect of the drawing meets required standards and specifications Occasionally required to work overtime We are offering a market related salary that will be based on qualifications and experience.
