Job Title: Electrical Engineer Start Date: 1st June 2024 Office: Johannesburg Bryanston Salary Range: (Based on Experience): CTC as "IC": ZAR 30,000 - ZAR 60,000 Start date: 1ST June 2024 Our Client Our Client is an electrical EPCM contractor, working primarily in Central and Northern Africa. They specialize in the engineering and design of medium-high voltage substations, overhead lines, power factor correction, harmonic filtration, and emergency generation solutions. List of Services to be Provided: Design and Develop Electrical Systems: Assist in the design and development of a wide range of electrical systems. Create Drawings and Specifications: Generate detailed schematics and technical specifications for electrical equipment (Transformers, Current & Voltage Transformers, Isolators, Circuit Breakers, Protection Relays, and others). Circuit Design: Create and develop electrical circuits for diverse applications, such as communication devices and computers. Ensure Electrical Code Compliance: Make sure all designs and installations meet relevant client, local, and national electrical codes. Systems Integration: Assist with integrating complex electrical systems with other systems within a building or process. Installation and Maintenance: Assist with overseeing onsite installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting on a wide range of electrical equipment and systems, from power systems to telecommunications equipment. Testing and Inspection: Assist in conducting regular testing and inspections of electrical systems and equipment to ensure they operate correctly and safely, and perform necessary repairs as needed. Requirements: · B.Eng Electrical / B.Sc Electrical · 1 Year minimum · AutoCAD · Matlab (Bonus) · ETAP (Bonus) · English First Language Afrikaans Second Language French is a bonus · medium-high voltage Notes: · High degree of problem-solving is a bonus · Must be able to work within a mining environment · "Can Do" attitude and a willingness to assist outside of the designated scope of work is a bonus · Will be hired as an Independent Contractor ("IC") Start Date: 1st June 2024 Office: Johannesburg Bryanston Salary Range: (Based on Experience): CTC as "IC": ZAR 30,000 - ZAR 60,000 Start date: 1ST June 2024
