Our client based in Durban (Pinetown) is currently seeking for qualified electricians Minimum requirements: Grade 12 Red Seal 5 years of experience and above Computer Literarate Purpose: The purpose of an Electrician is to assist the Branch Manager / Contract Manager or Site / Workshop Manager with their daily duties. a. Oversees the activity that takes place on the work site. b. Resolving issues and serving as a link between subordinates and upper management. c. Ensure that operations are carried out productively to ensure profitability and sustainable growth. d. Organizing workflow and ensuring that employees understand their duties or delegated tasks. e. Monitoring employee productivity and providing constructive feedback. f. Supervising the contractors and staff while maintaining a safe work environment. Responsibilities and Duties: a. Co-ordinate the activities of staff efficiently and cost effectively. b. Supervision of all staff that report to you. c. Test or assist with testing when job is completed. d. Ensure all power connections, including bus-bars are tightened before switching on any power. e. Recording, controlling and maintaining of all necessary SHEQ documentation i.e. QCP's, test reports, acceptance certificates, etc. f. Ensure work is completed in time and to the required SABS and safety standards. g. Maintain good site administration, including the control of company vehicles. h. To complete time sheets of hours worked and submit to Head Office on time i. Control all petty cash, and procurement of additional material required. j. Inform the Branch Manager / Contract Manager or Site / Workshop Manager of all customer variations during the construction period. k. Complete day Diaries. See Description See Description
