The End User Workspace Specialist will provide subject matter expertise to our Managed Services team, focusing on End User Computing and Microsoft 365 service architecture. This role will be responsible for delivering formal requirements associated with End User Workspace solutions, service design, and configuration management. The Specialist will play a key role in implementing and maintaining the End User Workspace Strategy, contributing to its ongoing transformation to drive cost efficiencies, mobility, and productivity. Key Responsibilities: Provide technical resolution to complex escalations, mentoring and coaching junior colleagues to upskill resources. Lead on specialist fourth-line support, design, implementation, and documentation of new services. Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) on Digital Workplace, engaging with internal and external stakeholders to understand requirements and manage risks. Lead incident and problem management related to End User Workspace problems, ensuring root cause analysis and resolution. Continuously develop technical skills to keep up with rapidly changing requirements in the End User Workspace environment. Ensure adherence to relevant industry frameworks and design principles, contributing towards safe, secure, and reliable End User Workspace solutions and services. Contact with Others: Internal: Collaborate with various technical teams, including Information Management, Digital Policing, Professional Standards, and Cyber Crime Unit. Work closely with Technology infrastructure, networking, and support teams to ensure effective implementation and delivery of solutions. External: Engage with counterparts within Microsoft, clients, and third-party suppliers. Coordinate with core IT suppliers for development, testing, and service transition purposes. Essential Criteria: Professionally qualified with a relevant degree/postgraduate qualification, or substantial vocational experience demonstrating professional development in End User Workspace area. Recognized M365 certifications: Microsoft 365 Security Administrator Associate, Identity and Access Administrator Associate, Information Protection Administrator Associate, Teams Voice Engineer Expert, Enterprise Administrator Expert. Extensive technical support experience in delivering End User Workspace technologies/solutions. Expert level identity management experience with a background in IAM (Identity Access Management) solutions. Experience implementing, managing, and reviewing compliance to specified information management policies and processes related to securing data in Microsoft 365. Strong experience working in teams within a complex, challenging environment setting and towards SLAs and business objectives. Desirable Criteria: Knowledge of industry best-practice frameworks including ITIL and its implementation.
