Enrolled Nursing Assistant, East London - East London
Applicants are required to meet the following criteria:
- Completion of a recognized Enrolled Nursing Assistant program / equivalent
- Registered with SA Nursing Council & recognized nursing agency
- Certificate in areas such as wound car, medication administration etc
- 2+ years related experience
- Must be willing to work nightshift on rotational basis
- Assist with quality care to elderly residents and ensure safe / hygienic environment
- Welcoming residents and orientating them
- Assist residents with mobility by the use of aids
- Ensure residents meet their nutritional and fluid needs
- Assist residents in maintaining personal hygiene
- Pressure care and prevention
- Maintain intake and output charts
- Contribute to safety of residents
- Vital sign observations and basic dressing of wounds
- Urine testing / catheter care and general first aid procedures
- Reporting of any abnormalities
- Accurate recording on resident charts
- Handover to oncoming staff
- Compliance with company policies
- Infection control
- Perform safety checks and report potential safety hazards
- Report lost/faulty equipment and assist in preventing theft
Salary: R8 943.00 per month CTC + night shift allowance
