EDUCATION: Degree/National Diploma/BTech in Quantity Surveying in Quantity Surveying

EXPERIENCE:

Minimum 5 Years Experience in Estimating.
Experience in construction projects in an Estimating/Construction QS position (an advantage)
Valid Drivers License

KNOWLEDGE:

Understand the tendering process and have suitable contractual knowledge of the different types of tenders and their requirements.
A methodical approach to work
Literate with good mathematical knowledge
High level of knowledge on JBCC, FIDIC, NEC3, GCC etc. Conditions of Contract
Knowledge of Pricing Process
Understanding of the external market conditions
Understanding of regional rates and supply chain processes and policies.
Understanding different types of construction methodologies.
Understanding market and economic environment for which he/she is responsible.
Electrical contracting experience is an advantage.
