Co-ordinating support to all the structures and branches of the association and executing resolutions for the organisation and executive committee as well as overseeing and monitoring the activities of various sub-committees Providing and coordinating industry comments and inputs on draft legislation. government policies and reports affecting the industry. Marketing and growing the membership of the association and dealing with the range of membership and industry issues that arise Managing the branches, operations, finances, staff, procurement, suppliers, and contracts of the association Ensuring compliance of the association with its constitution and by-laws as well as statutory requirements Managing Media liaison, corporate communication, social media and reputational management of the association across various platforms Compiling the annual report to the association and presenting the monthly financial reports to the National Council and Executive committee Compiling the annual Budget and presenting to the National Council and Executive. Project management of the annual conference and strategic planning Sessions, Annual General meetings, and day events Manage the Head Office and Secretariat team 8 years experience in a managerial role Experience in bus and transport industry (Very Advantageous) Relevant tertiary qualification (BA or Bcom) Financial Management Budgeting Excel and PowerPoint (Presenting Skills) Competitive Base Salary Car Allowance Pension fund Medical Aid (Discovery Classic Priotity) Performance bonus
