External Customer Relationship Representative - Ma - Western Cape

Reference: PS010296-SH-1 A well-known established plastics/packaging group requires the above to improve existing relationships and develop new relationships with clients whilst liaising directly with the sales team to ensure that customer expectations are met at all times. Minimum requirements for the role: A matric or a commercial degree or diploma or related qualification is essential for this role. Previous experience having worked in a customer services role calling on existing customers is essential. Previous experience having worked within any manufacturing or distribution or related environment is preferred for the role. The successful candidate must have attention to detail and be highly organised as well as be driven and able to take ownership. The successful candidate must have good Excel skills capabilities. Must be a team player and be able to work independently, but also in a team. The successful candidate will be responsible for: Identifying and assessing customers' needs to achieve satisfaction. Building sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communication. Meeting personal/customer service team sales targets and call handling quotas. Handling customer complaints, providing appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits and following up to ensure resolution. Keeping records of customer interactions, processing customer accounts and filing documents. Establishing demand from clients. Securing forecasts and orders from clients. Addressing any quality issues via the correct channels and or service-related issues. Taking lead from JHB sales teams on new customers to call on to identify opportunities and products. Ensuring the supply chain and related services support the customers' demands on time and in full. Liaising and assisting customers with orders, back-orders queries and following up. Liaising with customers and external sales representatives on a daily basis to update them on the progress of orders and to ensure customer requirements are fulfilled. Responding, within the shortest possible time, to customer queries and requests. Salary package, including benefits, is highly negotiable depending on experience gained. Monthly Apply Now
