It is a locally owned company specializing in the manufacturing and supplying of Solar Water Heating systems, Solar PV systems, energy consulting and turn-key project management to public utilities and the private sector. Our clientele reaches across local and international borders, spanning as far as Botswana, Namibia and Zimababwe. Apollo has grown to be entrenched in teh solar geyser industry and is one of the first entities that trail blazed and set the benchmark for solar water heater quality standards in South Africa. Apollo Solar Technology have veveral opportunities are available for experienced sales representatives to join our sales team. Duties & Responsibilites includes but not limited to: Sell the our products, services and solutions that the company offers. Maintain and grow a strong client base. Find new business opportunities and maintain a healthy pipeline for future deals. Respond to new and current client base regarding complaints and service enquiries. Be a “brand ambassador” that represents the company's brand and values Competency Requirements: Knowledge: Understanding of the customer service sector Preferably with knowledge of the plumbing, electrical or solar energy industry Skills: Self confident Strong negotiation and selling skills Be well-groomed and presentable Strong numerical literacy Ability to professionally communicate with customers and service providers, verbal and written Fully Computer literate Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Excel, Outlook, Power Point, Word Have excellent people skills and intuitive to client's needs Ability to work under pressure and be very target driven Be calm when dealing with customer complaints and issues. Time Management Skills, Organisational Skills and Multitasking skills. Working well as part of a bigger sales team, but also be able to deliver and work indeprendently Minimum Experience & Qualification: Matric Certificate, non-negotiable Degree/Diploma or equivalent preferable 5 years work experience, especially in a sales environment Preferably bilingual (English plus another SA official language) Proven experience in External Sales Other Requirements: Own transport and valid driver's license preferable Can think indepedently while adhering to company procedures 1 Month Training 3 Month Probation - Basic salary Thereafter, 1 year fixed contact - Basic salary food allowances transport allowances other allowances
