This person will be responsible for maintaining our existing business and key focus will be growing sales in new markets First Cut (Pty) Ltd looking for a self-motivated external salesperson to join our dynamic sales team at our Nelspruit offices. This person will be responsible for maintaining our existing business and key focus will be growing sales in new markets. Duties & Responsibilities Travel within sales territory to meet prospects and customers. Conduct calls and face-to-face meetings with customers daily. Build and maintain relationships with new and repeat customers. Maintain records of all sales leads and/or customer accounts Educate customers on how products or services can benefit them financially and professionally. Sell the company's products or services to customers within your given territory. Monitor the company's industry competitors, new products, and market conditions to understand a customer's specific needs. Develop a knowledge of the product and become an expert in the field. Ensure administration is up to date by completing weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports. Achieve sales budgets consistently. Establish relationships internally with all departments that support sales. Ensure customer service satisfaction and maintain excellent customer relationships. Desired Experience & Qualification Tertiary education will be an advantage. 2 – 3 years' experience of sales within the metal industries. Must be able to influence, negotiate, and communicate business strategy and objectives. Understanding of statistical analysis tools, basic PC operation, project management, continuous improvement, quality and basic financial principles, and ability to apply them to analyse and develop sales strategies. Have own reliable transport to visit customers. Other Skills Track record of over-achieving quota. Experience working with SYSPRO is advantageous. Familiarity with different sales techniques and pipeline management Computer use competency. Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills Ability to communicate effectively with all levels, to maintain relationships and cooperation in pursuing the company's goals.
