Drake International A national private tertiary institution is looking for a qualified and experienced individual to join their team and oversee maintenance/repairs and upkeep of the campus. Requirements: Matric Min 3yrs experience as a facilities co-ordinator or handyman in a similar industry is essential Valid Driver's License Basic Electrical and Plumbing certification would be advantageous Introduction to OHS MS Office literate Responsibilities: Perform maintenance and general repairs i.e. lighting/electrical etc. on the campus Set up venues as per instruction from Facilities Co-ordinator when required Paint and general repair work Responsible for light installations and carpeting Repair equipment and appliances where applicable Responsible for minor plumbing and electrical work Assist and manage Contractors that come onto the campus Perform regular inspections on the campus to identify item and areas requiring attention Responsible for sourcing quotes for maintenance and repairs Ad hoc handyman duties as and when required Dedicated Self-motivated Team Player Strong technical skills Presentable Good communication skills Apply Now
