You will be responsible for ensuring efficient production, maintaining quality standards, managing resources effectively, and fostering a safe and productive work environment. Key Responsibilities: Production Planning and Scheduling: Develop production schedules to meet customer demands while optimizing resources and minimizing costs. Coordinate with various departments to ensure smooth flow of materials and resources throughout the production process. Quality Control: Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure that products meet established standards. Monitor production processes and address any issues affecting product quality promptly. Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods. Implement inventory control procedures to minimize waste and ensure timely availability of materials. Resource Allocation: Manage human resources, equipment, and machinery effectively to maximize productivity. Allocate resources efficiently to meet production targets and deadlines. Safety and Compliance: Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and company policies. Implement safety procedures and conduct regular safety inspections to maintain a safe working environment. Team Management: Lead and motivate a team of production staff, supervisors, and technicians. Provide guidance, training, and support to ensure high levels of performance and job satisfaction. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction. Implement lean manufacturing principles and other best practices to enhance efficiency and productivity. Budgeting and Cost Control: Develop and manage the factory budget, including labor, materials, and overhead costs. Monitor expenses and identify areas for cost savings without compromising quality or safety. Communication and Coordination: Maintain open communication channels with other departments, suppliers, and stakeholders. Coordinate with sales, logistics, and customer service teams to fulfill orders and address customer inquiries or concerns. Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor's degree in engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration, or related field (advanced degree preferred). Proven experience in manufacturing management, with at least 5 - 8 years in a supervisory or managerial role. Strong knowledge of production processes, quality control principles, and lean manufacturing techniques. Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams. Proficiency in budgeting, cost analysis, and resource planning. Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Familiarity with health and safety regulations and compliance standards. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Proficiency in MS Office suite and manufacturing software systems.
