Our client is a leader in the agriculture sector specializing in fruit exports. They are urgently looking for an experienced Farm Manager to join their team in the Western Cape (near Somerset West area). • Setting operational objectives for the business unit • Ensure staff members have the correct tools and skills required to get the job done a • Resource allocation to ensure horticultural best practise is executed • Oversee and nurture new orchard developments • Compile and control the annual operating expense budget for the business unit. • Deliver inputs on strategic matters that would enable the Farming business • Must have a B.Sc Agriculture Degree and/or similar farming technical qualification • Must have a minimum of 10 years experience working on a fruit farm production unit • 5 years experience in a senior management role. • Experience working in an organised labour/unionised fruit production environment R 80 000 - R 90 000 ctc per month (depending on experience and qualifications)
