Must have a Tertiary Degree related to production or similar
Minimum 5 years experience within a management position in an animal feed mill is essential
Must have a valid drivers licence and passport
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Complying with Health, Safety, and Risk regulations.
Implementing and monitoring company policies and procedures related to environment and sustainability.
Overseeing operations management and driving production asset productivity through KPIs.
Leading and managing the production team, including conducting performance appraisals and training.
Ensuring quality control processes are in line with company requirements.
Contributing to the production annual budget and managing production-related expenses.
Managing procurement and inventory and reducing milling losses.
Contributing to business intelligence and communication efforts.
Compiling daily production plan and analyzing production data.
Conducting production meetings with staff.
Implementing and monitoring quality control processes.
Encouraging cost-cutting initiatives.
Managing procurement and inventory.
