Our client is seeking a Field Service Technician to join their team, based in Johannesburg.

Successful candidate must be passionate, enthusiastic and customer focused. Must be self-disciplined, results orientated, a team player and able to work under pressure. Above all, candidate required to have a professional approach to external sales role and be proficient in seeing new customers to develop service work.

Minimum Requirements:-

Qualified Millwright or Electrical Trade
3 to 5 years’ field service experience of selling & repairs of vacuum pumps, water pumps, compressors, valves; or other industrial equipment selling to Industrial markets i.e., Food, Plastics, Woodworking, Medical, Automotive
Must proficiently communicate with customers, verbally and via email daily

Duties:-

Generate service repair sales for the Workshops
On-site problem solving
Grow field service, including procuring active service contracts
Calling on existing and new customers and maintaining relationships and growing the business with these customers
On site customer support with technical problems
Install and repair vacuum pumps and systems on site
Supporting the Sales Manager to grow the business
