Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons to fill the the role of a Field Technician in the following areas: Middleburg X2 Rustenburg X3 Randburg X2 Key Purpose To act as the point person interacting with customers, suppliers, and management to identify and resolve problems associated with the servicing, installation, and commissioning of Process Automation equipment. Customer Support Providing Technical support to all customers as and when required Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers. Administration Complete Application Data Sheets. Complete DWC (Day Work Reports). Complete Calibration Data Sheets. Complete Calibration Certificates. Complete Site Reports. Health & Safety Attend on-site Medical and Induction. Attend Radiation Safety Training. Attend Safety Talks meetings. Field Service Mechanical installation of New Equipment. Commissioning of New Equipment. Calibration of New and Existing equipment. Fault finding on Existing Equipment. Conduct Internal & Customer Repairs. Software Upgrades and ECO's. Perform Standby Duties. Leak Tests on Gamma Isotopes. Branch Duties Manage Boot Stock Levels Ensure maintenance of In-House Equipment. Key Competencies ( Skills and Knowledge) Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work under pressure. Self-motivated. Good Driving Skills Technically Minded (Instrumentation). Senior Certificate (Grade 12 or N3). Minimum N4 Certificate in Instrumentation / Electrical Engineering. Experience as a Field Service/Instrumentation Technician required. Trade Test and/or National Diploma (Advantageous) Clear criminal record. Valid Drivers License Market Related Apply Now
