The main purpose of the position is to ensure provide Senior Management with financial and legal advice and to ensure compliance with applicable laws and legislation. Qualifications required: BCom Accounting or Financial Management / BCom Law / CIMA is essential CPA accreditation Skills and experience required: 5 years' experience in a Financial Manager or similar position Experience with activity analysis, budgeting, forecasting and compliance. High level understanding of accounting regulations and practices. Strong systems control and process improvement experience essential. Experience with integrated operational systems essential. Microsoft Dynamics experience will be advantageous. Attention to detail. Strong organisational and communication skills. Strong analytical acumen. Ability to handle multiple projects. Strong time management skills. Job description: Financial reporting and management Management annual financial targets and performance set against business plans, targets, sales results, EBITDA, cost control and pricing. Preparation of weekly management accounts. Preparation if annual budgets including; income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements and Capex. Variance analysis validation. Forecasting and planning. Oversee stock integrity and review stock recons. Company Secretarial and Compliance duties: Ensure adherence to organisation policies and procedures as well as regulatory and ethical standards. Perform audits Design control systems Design and implement company policies Drafting and reviewing customer and supplier contracts Dealing with banks in terms of standard terms and conditions, contracts and loan documents. Providing legal advice and support to the business. Development, maintenance and rollout of contracts, policies and guidance documents CIPC compliance Risk management Stock risks Report on risk issues Investigate, motivate and drive the implementation of innovation and enhanced efficiency projects.
