Submit your CV to Stormsalixrecruitment.co.za Duties: Investigate, motivate and drive the implementation of innovation and enhanced efficiency projects. Manage the annual financial targets and performance set against business plans, targets, sales results, cost control and pricing. Validate actual versus budget variance reports including full details of variances. Ensure adherence of organisation policies and procedures, especially regulatory and ethical standards. Perform regular audits, design control systems and help to design and implement company policies. Implement and maintain company policies in terms of financial risk and the mitigation thereof. Providing legal advice and support to the business to ensure compliance with relevant legislation. Development, maintenance and rollout of contracts, policies and guidance documents. Job Experience & Skills Required: Qualifications: Matric (Grade 12) BCom Accounting / Bcom Law BCom Honours CIMA Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a Financial Manager / similar role. Must have experience in the Manufacturing or FMCG industry. Must have in-depth experience with activity analysis, budgeting, forecasting and compliance. Strong systems control and process improvement experience is essential. Experience with integrated operational systems is essential. Exposure to Accounting Packages such as Microsoft Dynamics will be an advantage. Skills & Competencies: Attention to detail with excellent organisational skills. Strong analytical acumen. Must be a professional individual with strong interpersonal and relationship building skills. Effective time management skills with the ability to work on own initiative. Must be customer and results focused and be highly committed to providing an excellent standard of service to customers.
