Job Requirements Tertiary qualification in Degree Accounting / Finance or related Honours, CIMA, CA (SA) Registered qualification - advantageous Minimum 5 years' experience in Pastel Accounting Minimum 5 years working experience in a Finance manager position or similar role Monthly management accounts and budget management experience Experience working with multiple companies, multiple projects – preferable NPC and experience in managing funders (national and international) – preferable General knowledge of other legislation affecting business Strong data analytical and numerical skills Strong financial and administrative background Advanced computer skills, including MS Office Suite Advanced Excel skills (e.g., V- Lookup, pivot tables, IF functions) Strong leadership capabilities and the ability to manage a team Excellent communication skills The Finance Manager will be responsible for managing the financial health of the organisation to promote success and growth while maintaining legal financial practices. They will oversee the planning & management accounting, general accounting, internal audit controls, monthly reporting and presenting to senior manager. The role is proactive with a key requirement of identifying areas of improvement and profit optimisation. The ideal candidate : Has a good head for figures and for dealing with complex modelling and analysis, as well as a sound grasp of financial systems and procedures. Has been exposed to diversified finance experiences. They can identify opportunities and or the need for change and take the lead in taking appropriate action. They work with a high level of integrity and professionalism and will ensure that financial practices are in line with all statutory legislation and regulations Manage the financial health of multiple companies, through strong financial principles, processes, analysis and strategy Manage the monthly management reports, income statements and financial reports for companies and its projects Ensure decision making is compliant to legislation and is cost- effective Provide high-quality financial analytics and reports to HODs and Director Manage the Audit process – internal audit controls Support the operations teams by providing relevant reports and tools on project budgets etc. Provide innovative ideas to improve general financial processes Systems and Processes – operate effective and efficient financial /departmental processes Oversee and provide direction on all company bookkeeping and financial administration function Apply Now
