We are seeking an experienced Commercial Finance Director who will be a key member of the EMEA team with a proven track record of developing and executing financial strategies that drive profitability and sustainable growth. Must be competent in optimizing cost structures, implementing risk mitigation strategies, and ensuring compliance with forecasts. Member of EMEA leadership team mandated with the full operational financial function. Lead a team of professionals across multiple geographies, driving strategies and mitigating risks. Development and implementation of strategies for growth against the addressable market opportunities. Cross functional engagement, preparation, design and influence of the Annual Operating Plan and mid-year forecast process. Implementation of performance targets for partners and staff to align with growth strategies. Presentation and engagement of results against plan to the Executive Leadership Team. Identify key performance metrics and implement dashboard monitoring, including corrective action improvements. Responsible for the closure of identified control gaps from internal audit. Management of the full financial function for the South African & EMEA channels. Responsible for performing the full financial review and analysis of quarterly results. Presentation of results for feedback, analysis, and recommendations of strategic initiatives. Development and review of quarterly and annual plans benchmarked against the market and competitors for key performance metrics. Analysis and recommendations to the team to maximize business performance against financial targets. Support achievement of Sales Productivity targets by closely monitoring resources alignment. Leverage BI team to deliver ongoing support on segmentation/ competitive analysis. Maximise profitability at segment level through segment P&L optimization. Degree in Accounting or related field, MBA or CPA /CA qualification preferred. 5 years of experience in the FMCG, food, dairy and ingredients business as Director/ Manager. Must have 10 years of professional experience in sales. Knowledge and commercial contacts in the beverage and food market. Knowledge of French will be an advantage. Excellent negotiation, people, and stakeholder management skills. Flexible and willing to travel regularly within the Sub Sahara region.
