Job Description
A top tier company in the Financial Services / Banking sector is looking for a seasoned Finance Solutions Analyst with the necessary know-how for a duration of 6 months. The incumbent will focus on delivering small to large change initiatives for the various finance stakeholders across the board. They will be expected to grow into a valued, trusted Business Partner to CFOs, Heads of Finance, Group Finance and Accounts by bridging the gap between finance and technology.
The key responsibilities for this role will include:
- Thoroughly understand the Finance Architecture and Finance Reporting
- Be a Finance expert internally and with industry trends in the relevant product or business area (industry and competitor trends and cycles)
- Clearly understand and document the finance business requirements to enable finance enablement to develop solutions against those requirements
- Responsible for ensuring quality and timely delivery by the finance enablement team before handover to finance
- Motivate for proposed changes/improvements in the finance area by writing business cases where relevant to assist in the Business Unit (BU)/Functional Area (FA) prioritisation process
- Stakeholder management
As you will be responsible for hitting the ground running extensive experience is essential. You will also be hands-on involved with the department.
The requirements:
Qualification:- Completed Hons Degree in Finance / Business Information Systems or equivalent (advantageous)
- Bachelors Degree in Finance/Business Information Systems
Experience:- 5 years experience in Finance/Business Analysis experience
- Project experience in finance and technology
