Our client in Paarl is looking to employ a Financial Accountant. This role is primarily responsible for Financial Accounting & Trade Receivables administration. This position reports to the Financial Manager. Requirements: Bachelor's Degree B.Com (with Accounting) / B. Accounting 3-5 years’ experience in relevant POST article accounting/procurement environment required. Key Responsibilities: Tenant Revenue Collection & liaising with customers. Customer age analysis preparation. Review and update of Tenant Revenue master. Customer account and other accounts conciliations (GP). Electricity invoicing & collection from tenants. Doubtful debt review & resolution. Liaising with Shared Service Centre & reviewing Cash applications. Analyze electricity usage reports received from utility metering company. Balance Sheet reconciliations. Assistance with ad hoc VAT, Income Tax & PAYE queries. Other projects and duties as assigned.
