Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Financial Accountant or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting software and Excel, experience with engineering-specific financial software is a plus.
- Excellent understanding of accounting rules and procedures including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field.
- Maintain and reconcile ledger accounts, financial statements, and reports.
- Ensure accuracy and effectiveness in all of our accounting tasks.
- Prepare tax documents and ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
- Assist with budget preparation and budget forecasts.
- Analyze financial data and provide strategies to cut costs and increase profits.
- Participate in regular audits and recommend corrective financial action plans.
