Financial Accountant - - Cape Town City Centre

The Financial Accountant will report to the Financial Manager and be responsible for general, day to day accounting functions for an established and stable, boutique financial services firm, which is going through a positive growth phase.

Duties include:

Month end accounting including journals, reconciliations, and banking.

Review of Client settlements before issue.

Administrative and financial functions on the company's lending system and ERP (Sage Intacct).

Review of contracts before contract drafting stage, assisting with various pay plan requirements.

Requirements:

BCom degree or similar/ equivalent qualification
1- 3 years experience in a similar accounting function
Knowledge / know-how on accounting software
Financial acumen
