Key deliverables:

Recording and capturing of transactions from bank statements into the accounting system

Cashbook processing, management and reconciliations

Processing of creditors invoices and month end reconciliations

Posting month end management account journals (depreciation, accruals, payroll etc)

Preparation of 3-month cashflow forecast and daily tracking

Review of lease schedules vs monthly pre-billings per the accounting system

Capturing of ad-hoc billing (including intercompany and tenant recovery billing)

Preparation of detailed analysis of property expenses vs tenant recoveries

Preparation of monthly management packs and year end packs for audit purposes

Preparation of group loan matrix

Maintenance of Fixed Asset Register

Preparation of control, input, output reconciliations and VAT 201 submission

The company utilises the following software in its operations:

MDA Property Management System, Build smart & Sage Pastel

Qualification:

Relevant qualifications in the accounting field (BCom and/or SAIPA registered would be an advantage)

Experience and Skills Required:

Minimum 3 years work experience (articles preferable)

Experience in processing of the journals, cashbook, performing bank reconciliations

Attention to detail and accuracy

Must be able to work under pressure

Excellent communication skills

Deadline Driven

Must work well independently and within a team

Computer Literate
