Our Client, based in Centurion, is looking for a Financial Accountant to join their team. Provide accurate financial reports and meet deadlines. Ensure regulatory compliance. Supervise and coordinate financial activities. Monitor cash flows and predict trends. Regulate and administer projects. Develop financial controls to minimize risks. Manage stock costing, budgets, and forecasts. Consult with external auditors. Perform treasury functions. Balance daily sales, calculate incentives, and prepare month-end results. Conduct variance analysis and prepare internal reports. Monthly review of balance sheet, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll reconciliations. Adhere to tax and statutory deadlines; prepare and submit tax returns. Safeguard financial records and manage audits. Oversee insurance and manage working capital. Review cash positions, release payments, and manage cashflow reporting. Liaise with financial institutions. Develop and implement SOPs; address ad hoc queries and reports. Conduct cost-reduction evaluations. Matric. Relevant tertiary degree in accounting/financial management. Completed articles (beneficial). Experience with Sage Evolution. Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel. Knowledge of Finnivo (beneficial). Good understanding of inventory costing and management.
