Reference: JHB007437-CW-1 FMCG / Pharma concern has an opportunity for a SAIPA or CIMA candidate to take on the role of a Financial Controller / Senior Accountant. Experience in dealing with multiple entities and knowledge of stock / inventory highly advantageous. SAIPA articles / registration essential. Min. B.Com Finance degree and 2 to 3 years post article experience. Fluency in English and Afrikaans due to the business' clients. The main objective of the role would be to: Provide accurate financial reports, compliance, supervision of staff, monitoring and interpreting cash flows and predicting future trends. Managing costing of stock, budgets and forecasts and treasury function. Responsibilities would include: Reporting: daily sales preparation of month end results prepare and review monthly management reports prepare monthly variance analysis Reconciliations : Review BS recons Review AP and AR recons monthly Review payroll recons monthly Tax, Statutory and Audit Ensure all monthly statutory and tax deadlines are met Prepare monthly tax computations Submit tax return annually Control of assets, financial records and securities Working Capital Management Review cash position daily Review and release cashbook and AP payments Fixed Asset Management Ensure accurate costing of stock Other ad hoc duties as requested. Fluent in English and Afrikaans due to the type of clients B Com degree essential SAIPA Articles essential / or CIMA Previous experience in inventory costing and management and manufacturing knowledge. R480 000 - Annually plus 13th Cheque
