I have an exciting opportunity with an International Holding Company for a Financial Accountant to be based out of their offices in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will be an ambitious and analytical individual. Someone who is comfortable and confident when engaging with stakeholders across their global offices. Responsibilities: Verify accuracy of balance sheet, reconciling with trial balance Manage creditors recons, detailed age analysis to supplier statements Ensure timely feedback to team on payments held and revised due dates, maintaining group cash flow plan Liaise with Group Financial Manager and Group Financial Director on payments held and revised due dates Review and ensure inventory asset and supply chain liabilities are accuracy recorded Enforce cut off and accuracy audits, review AP recons and Advanced clearing reports, ensure supply chain provisions are provided Review daily, weekly, monthly forex exposure, ensuring accuracy Review bank recons and evaluate group company book currency Manage all returns, credit note requests Review debtors recons, detailed age analysis and bank deposits Requirements: Relevant Finance Qualification, along with SAIPA or SAICA Articles Must have logistics accounting experience Strong communication skills, written and verbal, able to listen Ability to work with a support team Be able to travel on an adhoc basis Please note that if you have not heard from us within 2 weeks of your application, please consider it as unsuccessful for this particular role.
