Description Well-known and respected medium sized Accounting and Consultancy firm is searching for an experienced accounting professional to join their ranks at their offices in Stellenbosch. This is an exciting and newly created role and the incumbent will be responsible for the financial management and accounting functions of high net-worth individuals and their businesses. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years accounting and finance experience, and completion of SAIPA, SAICA or CIMA articles is required, with additional experience a bonus. A candidate with the intention of a long-term commitment would be viewed favourably. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with the required qualification and experience to gain valuable exposure to high profile clients and their businesses, equipping themselves for future senior financial management opportunities and building a solid network. Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or similar. Completed SAICA, SAIPA, CIMA articles. Professional qualification such as PA(SA), AGA(SA) or CIMA designation. Minimum 3 years' experience. Advanced Excel with knowledge of financial modelling, pivot tables, finance formula etc. Xero Accounting systems experience a plus. Additional requirements: Attention to detail. Deadline driven. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Work experience dealing with clients one-on-one. Ability to work independently. Range of technical finance and tax knowledge. Hard-working, eager to learn new skills and flexible in taking on new tasks. Thrives in a pressured environment. Good people skills. Remuneration: R360,000 per annum, negotiable depending on experience.
