We're seeking a Senior Accountant interested in working for an industry leading supplier of Life Insurance products, to be based in Stellenbosch, Western Cape . Annual and Monthly financial reporting - assist with management packs; close processes; journal entries; GL recons; IFRS adherence. Statutory - Vat returns; BBBEE administration and management. Financial Analysis - assist with customer analysis; profitability variance analysis. SOP's and Processes - oversee and ensure adherence to SOP's and processes within responsibility area; with view to comprehensive risk mitigation. AP and AR working capital management - ensure creditors and debtors ageing are clean, reconciled, query free, and current. Accounting Degree; with PA(SA) or AGA(SA) preferred. Minimum 2 years post articles experience in Life Insurance industry; or 5 years in Insurance. Team player with strong ERP system (Great Plains preferred), and Excel skills. Numerical; analytical; attention to detail. R360,000 to R480,000 per annum - highly dependent on experience and qualifications.
