RESPONSIBILITIES:

Providing leadership and overseeing financial accounting, driving business growth and monitoring business performance
Finance governance and monitoring / driving continues improvement in the finance function.
Financial reporting: providing insight into the business and key drivers, through complete and accurate analysis on monthly reporting to assist with decision making
Present monthly and quarterly review Management Accounts to group / executives
Drive efficient month end finalisation, through implementation of SOP
Understand, manage and co-ordinate cost saving initiatives
Strictly comply with group reporting timelines, and ensure financial compliance of the business meets group standard
Working capital management: Debtor management, Supplier relationship with key suppliers are maintained and timely payments and stock management
Understand capex requirement of the business, asset utilisation, CAPEX reporting and EVA modelling
Yearly financial audit and tax and deferred tax calculations
Driving and managing the preparation of the budgets, forecast including timely submission to group
Continuous engagement with finance staff, training, identification of areas for improvement and management of the finance team, to ensure optimal performance are maintained.
Setting culture of finance continuously striving for better performance and managing accountability
Driving ROCE
Review and sign off of bi-weekly / monthly payroll reports
Ensure Statutory compliance
Understand and provide insight into manufacturing and product costing
Facilitating the import process
