RESPONSIBILITIES:- Providing leadership and overseeing financial accounting, driving business growth and monitoring business performance
- Finance governance and monitoring / driving continues improvement in the finance function.
- Financial reporting: providing insight into the business and key drivers, through complete and accurate analysis on monthly reporting to assist with decision making
- Present monthly and quarterly review Management Accounts to group / executives
- Drive efficient month end finalisation, through implementation of SOP
- Understand, manage and co-ordinate cost saving initiatives
- Strictly comply with group reporting timelines, and ensure financial compliance of the business meets group standard
- Working capital management: Debtor management, Supplier relationship with key suppliers are maintained and timely payments and stock management
- Understand capex requirement of the business, asset utilisation, CAPEX reporting and EVA modelling
- Yearly financial audit and tax and deferred tax calculations
- Driving and managing the preparation of the budgets, forecast including timely submission to group
- Continuous engagement with finance staff, training, identification of areas for improvement and management of the finance team, to ensure optimal performance are maintained.
- Setting culture of finance continuously striving for better performance and managing accountability
- Driving ROCE
- Review and sign off of bi-weekly / monthly payroll reports
- Ensure Statutory compliance
- Understand and provide insight into manufacturing and product costing
- Facilitating the import process
REQUIREMENTS:- B.Comm degree with postgraduate and completed articles / trainee contract
- 5+ years experience with at least 2+ years in Finance leadership role
