Financial Manager - Western Cape
My client is a leading FMCG company seeking a dynamic Finance Manager to join their team. The successful incumbent will spearhead the operational finance function for the business Group. You will be a proven leader with robust technical accounting experience, a knack for critical thinking, with a proactive, hands-on approach. Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day financial operations
- Produce accurate monthly financial reports and reports in line with specific deadlines
- Analyse and interpret financial information
- Budget preparation and cost management
- Manage Cash management
- Oversee financial year-end audit
- Prepare and manager VAT, Tax and statutory reporting
- Manager Asset management
- Review, update and implement financial policies and procedures
- Manage insurance administration
- Responsible for full payroll function - monthly and bi-weekly payrolls
- Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders
- Lead and manage the finance team
Requirements:
- CIMA qualification
- BCom (Hons) Accounting degree or equivalent with completed articles
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a financial management role
- Proven track record of managing a team of at least 3 - 4 team members
