A vacancy exists in the Finance Department for a Financial Manager reporting to the Finance Executive. Operational : Approvals in line with Company DOA Management of the Finance Team Accurate and timeous submission and reporting of monthly financial results Preparation and submission of monthly forecast Preparation of monthly management pack Cash flow forecasting and reporting Review and approval of general ledger reconciliation Oversight and review of accounts receivable and accounts payable Revenue and cost matching and accounting in terms of IFRS Approval of payroll variables; commission, overtime, standby, ad hoc Corporate reporting and specific Group requirements OneStream reporting Ad-hoc reporting and other requests from the BU's Ongoing interaction with the BU's to ensure operational and financial interlock Driving Project Accounting (actual vs. budget) in the BU Assisting in ensuring timeous Distribution of financial results to Business Submission of financial information to Group Finance Collection of debtors Preparation of Annual Budgets and Long-Term Forecast for the respective BU's Company budgets consolidation Half year and year end audit and tax packs Tax calculations and submission to Group Finance and SARS Internal and external audit, ISO audit Ensuring Annual Financial statements are prepared accurately and timeously Annual Insurance Declaration Ensuring Finance policies and procedures are up to date and ensuring staff compliance to policies and procedures Review and approval of tender DOA's Managing roll-out and automation of processes and procedures Special projects and ad-hoc assignments Compliance: Responsibility for compliance to ITGC's and IFRC's for the entity including: Ensuring finance policies and procedures are complied with Providing input to maintain and update finance policies Ensuring allocated IFRC CSA's are adhered to on a monthly basis All allocated CSA questionnaires have been responded to timeously Ensure that remediation activities have been implemented for all “No” answers and that these are tracked and monitored. Assistance in establishing a proper monitoring and reporting protocol relating to the financial control environment. Required Capabilities: Good communication & must be a team player. Required Experience: Hands-on processing and reporting experience on the below: Any ERP, Excel (Advance) Word and PowerPoint 3-5 years' experience in staff management with demonstrated history of developing staff in the finance environment Qualifications and Education: CA (SA) with minimum 3 years post articles experience or, B Comm Finance or similar with 3-5 years' experience in an accounting environment
